小さいころからうちにグランドピアノがありましたが、クラシックには全く興味のない人生を送っていました。
85年当時、NHKスペシャルか何かで、ショパンコンクールを偶然みて衝撃を受けました。
ショパンというものすら、よく分からなかった私ですが、お上品で退屈なものだというわたしの間違ったクラシックの概念をふっとばすだけのインパクトがありました。
ブーニンの、まるでピアノ（あるいは、ピアノを通して何かと）と戦っているような演奏が、子ども心に非常に印象深かったです。ピアノ協奏曲の演奏の最後、観客のワーッ、という歓声と拍手を聞きながら、ものすごく興奮したのを覚えています。クラシックを聞いて、感動するとか興奮するとかは、中学生のわたしには生まれてはじめての経験でした。
なけなしの小遣いをはたいて、このショパンコンクールのLP（ファイナルと、予選もの）を買いましたよ。100回は聞いたんじゃないかと思います。
その後、ショパンをきっかけにしてクラシックを聴くようになり、今はもっぱらモーツァルトばかりですが、クラシックへの扉を開いてくれた、記念すべきアルバムです。
その後、いろんなピアニストのショパンを聞きました。伝説になっている、ポリーニのショパコンのファイナルでのピアノコンチェルトの演奏も聴きました。彼らに比べたら荒削りでミスタッチが多いけど、やっぱりブーニンのピアノコンチェルトの演奏が好きです。
CDは持っていませんが、DVDが出たら買いたいです。
ブーニンが好きな方でしたら、シューマンのクライスレリアーナの演奏もお薦めです。

14歳の頃、この演奏を毎日夢中になって聴き続けました。それから20年、ショパンのP-コンは、何人もの名ピアニストの演奏を聴いてきて、どの演奏も素晴らしいのですが、やはり、これほど胸躍る演奏はないです。ミスタッチもなんのその！オケの導入部の美しさも、この盤が大好きです。

図書館のＬＤで観て感動し、ＣＤを購入しました。

たしかに１９歳のブーニンさんは荒削り。
でも、この曲の魅力を充分に引き出していると言えます。

ミスタッチだらけですが、聴くと、いつも心が震えます。
ショパンさんと、ブーニンさんの「青春の輝き」がそこにあるからでしょうか？

３楽章の最後、ブーニンさんが弾ききったあと、オケがまだ鳴っているのに、
演奏会場が歓声につつまれた様子も記録されており、また感動ひとしおです。

この演奏は現在、YOU TUBEで視聴出来ます。
「 CHOPIN BUNIN6 」の語で検索してみて下さい。
