第11回山本周五郎賞を受賞した、梁石日の最高傑作である同名小説を映画化した「血と骨」をパッケージ化。1920年代、大阪の朝鮮人集落を舞台に“怪物”と呼ばれた男の、鮮烈にして壮絶場生き様を描いた作品。ビートたけし、鈴木京香ほか出演。R-15作品。

ビートたけしの存在感が本当にすごい。たけしのキャラを勘違いしてしまうくらい恐ろしい。

ストーリーはすさまじい性欲と金欲に暴力を振るう男の生涯と家族を描いている。
脇を固める役者もいい味をだしているし、とにかくかっこいい映画だと思う。
家族や人から遠ざけられても気にしていない。
男という存在の理性を取り払ってしまった状態はこのような状態なのだろうか。
一見の価値のある作品。

夢とか希望とかをテーマにした娯楽映画の対極をなす様な生々しくて、目を覆いたくなるような世界が描かれている映画だと思う。1920年代という混沌とした世界、ビートたけし演じる主人公の様な人間もいたんだろうなあと実感できる。大阪に住む僕としては歴史的勉強にもなった。唯一、笑ったのが、借金の取立てをするシーンで、債務者宅の門扉を柱で壊そうとする主人公だが、メル・ギブソンの「ペイバック」ばりの執念深さだなあと思った。血も涙も無い人間を描くという意味においてはよく出来ていると思うが、何分、後味が悪いのが難。

だらだらだらだら暴力親父の一生が2時間20分にわたって延々流される。
それがテーマならいいんですけどね、
そこに微妙にいろんなテーマ設定を無理やりつきこんでいる。
なぜか在日朝鮮人だけど、そのこととこの映画、何の関係もない。
暴力親父の一生涯なのに、息子の視点で描かれているようなナレーションがずっと入るんだけど、
それほどこの映画で息子は重要じゃないし、2時間目あたりになると、
その息子がまったく出てこなくなっていて、視点がめちゃめちゃ。

とにかく、何をいいたいんだかさっぱりわからん映画。
すごく中途半端で、単にたけしを使っただけの映画。
たけしの素晴らしい演技もこういう焦点のぼけた映画じゃどうしようもない。
