「七夕」がDS版東京魔人学園剣風帖のテーマソングになったと聞き、購入。
が、個人的には七夕より蝶々のほうが好みに合った。

ともあれ、二曲とも非常にメッセージ性の強い、多重的な意味の込められた特殊な歌だなという印象。
歌詞を見てみるといずれもごくシンプルな言葉の羅列なのだが、やなせななが歌うと、これまた不思議なくらい密度のある奥行きが出てくるのである。
こういう歌い方は、多少なりとも哲学的もしくは神秘的な分野の素養がないとできないよなァと思ったのだが、その後、ネットでやなせなな公式サイトでプロフィールを見てみたら、僧侶の資格を持っているとのこと。非常に納得。

曲も、複雑な装飾のない、シンプルでどこかノスタルジックな切なさをもよおさせるものがある。
何度も何度も聴いて、味わいたい名曲だと思う。

CMで流れていたのをチラッと聞いて、ゲームのテーマ曲なんだなと思って購入しました。
サビの部分が切なくて良いなあと思っていたのですが、まさかこういう歌だったとは。
許されない恋というのが、その時読んでいた村山由香さんの「星々の舟」とマッチングしてしまって、切なくて遣り切れなかったです。

「星々の舟」を映像化するときは、テーマソングはこれしかないと思いました。
