Sometimes, getting Amazon to update a book listing seems harder than getting to meet the Dalai Lama. I've met the Dalai Lama and have now concluded, that in fact, it is indeed easier to meet his Holiness than to get someone at Amazon to accurately list your book.
So it goes. The book will be coming out, but with a non-Japanese publisher.
Mmm....Let's just say that there were some concerns about how the book might be perceived by a 66 year old gang boss with a bad liver and an even worse temper--that warranted a change in publishers.
