喫茶店、恋愛、若いやるせなさ、日々のもんもんとした思い。
このアルバムには私たちの「普通」が詰め込まれている。
そんな普通の中にあるちょっとした優しさを、驚きを、喜ぶべきことだと気づかしてくれる。

音楽には体温があると思っている、冷たい音楽に慰められ、暖かい音楽に励まされる私だ。
サニーデーサービスは私にとってそれがちょうど人肌の温度だ。
穏やかな心の時も憂鬱なときもいつでも聞くことができる。
それは優しいからとかじゃなくて、普通が歌われているからだ。
そんなだからいつでもそばに置いておける。それはとても素敵だ。

　私がサニーデイの中でも一番好きなアルバム。
「ご機嫌いかが」なんてすごい名曲だと思うんです。
そしてこの音の悪さと下手さがなんとも言えずいいのです。
何度も何度も聴いてみてほしい。
いつかわかります、この良さが！

恋の歌がほとんどなのですが、甘い恋愛と言うよりは彼の葛藤とかその時の気持ちだったり、ちょっと切ない感じのアルバムです。

アルバムタイトル曲の「若者たち」の詩は凄いと思います。
恋人と長く付き合って行く中で、お互いの想いのバランスが崩れた時の心情とか情景とか切ない位に伝わってきます。
