交通事故にあったあと、幽霊が見えるようになった少年、一路の
物語。

主人公の家族や出てくる幽霊たちはみんな個性的。
笑って泣けるという、いわば「王道」のドタバタ漫画だけど、
読み終わったあととってもあったかい気持ちになれる。

いまだに読むたび泣いてしまう。
いやーいい漫画だなあ・・・。

たまたま「夏休み」がアニメの再放送でやっていてぼーっと見ていたらかなり泣いてしまったので本を買ってみようと思いました。原作はアニメよりもっと泣けました。とはいえ、思いっきり笑える話もあって笑いと泣きのバランスがよい作品だと思います。笑いたい人も泣きたい人も絶対読んでみてほしいです。

映画「シックスセンス」などでもおなじみの、幽霊との交流というおどろおどろしい世界を、コメディタッチで描く。この世に未練を残す幽霊たちのストーリーはどれもせつなく涙を誘うが、舞台となる田舎の風情や、にぎやかで楽しい主人公一路の家族の描写によって救われる。
