という副題がついている初代聖剣伝説。
目玉は全編をイメージしたオーケストラ・アレンジ。
少し表現として適当でない部分はありますが、
構成は物凄く良く出来ています。

余談ですが、優れた曲というのはそれが
たった三和音で構成されているものであっても
優れたものなんですよね。
生音源を使用する現在のハードウェアに対する
アンチテーゼを感じてしまうのは滑稽でしょうか？

初代GB用ソフトということもあり、音もチープですしシンプルですが、それ故に楽曲の良さが際立っています。
またアレンジバージョンもオリジナルの良さを壊さず上手くアレンジしてあるかと。
初代聖剣にハマった人すべてに今一度聴いてもらいたい1枚。

3和音でこれだけのスケールを展開出来るとは・・・というのが当時の感想でした。
ゲームボーイ世代である私にとっては、本作品は本当に懐かしい感じがいっぱいです。

みなさまこぞって
【戦闘2】（デビアス、シャドウナイト、ジュリアスVer.2との戦闘シーンで使用）
を推されているようですが、あれは確かに素晴らしい曲ですね。RPGらしいサウンドです。
しかし、
【果てしなき戦場】（序盤のフィールド上にて使用）
もとても良い曲だと思いますよ☆

結局のところ、良い音楽にはやはり古いも新しいも関係ありませんね！！
古いものには古いなりの良さがあります。本作品は、それを教えてくれるようです。
