いじめに遭っている中学2年の太刀川照音は、その苦しみ、両親への不満を「絶望ノート」と名づけた日記帳に書き連ねていた。そんな彼はある日、校庭で人間の頭部大の石を見つけて持ち帰り、それを自分にとっての“神”だと信じた。神の名はオイネプギプト。エスカレートするいじめに耐えきれず、彼は自らの血をもって祈りを捧げ、いじめグループ中心人物の殺人を神に依頼した。「オイネプギプト様、是永雄一郎を殺してください」―はたして是永はあっけなく死んだ。しかし、いじめはなお収まらない。照音は次々に名前を日記帳に書きつけ神に祈り、そして級友は死んでいった。不審に思った警察は両親と照音本人を取り調べるが、さらに殺人は続く―。

いしめられた中学生の日記形式を取っているが、それが長すぎて飽きてしまった。最後のどんでんがえしは確かにおもしろいが、それまでの作品のテンポがはっきりいってイマイチ。安達ケ原の鬼密室のデンポが素晴らしかっただけに、この作品はちょっとネ。でも歌野先生のファンですので、先生の他のレベルの高い作品と比べてのことで、最後に驚愕の結末が楽しめます。

絶対に映像化不可能！！！といわれた『葉桜の季節に君を想うということ』

で知られる著者によるひさびさの長編小説。


同級生から執拗ないじめを受ける男子学生。

彼は、自ら作り出したオイネギプト神に

自分をいじめる同級生を殺してくれるよう願い続けていると、やがて―


というサスペンス色の強い作品です。


執拗ないじめもさることながら

いじめと周囲からの無関心に耐えかね、

絶望の末、他者へ殺意を抱く主人公の内面に

鬼気迫るものを感じつつも

なんだこんなものか―

と思っていたら、待っていました！！とばかりに後半の急展開。


これぞ歌野マジック！！！


頭がクラクラしたまま目にするする

最後の一行は途方もなく怖く、あとを引きます。


一体誰がオイネギプト神なのか

そして本当の悪意・狂気は誰のものなのか？

社会が対抗できない悪意の姿は、まさに現代人必読☆


ミステリーやサスペンスが好きな方はもちろん

著者の作品を読んだことがない方に、強くおススメの作品です☆

日記形式で綴られる残酷いじめ物語。
タイトルからしてダークで、手にとるのにも勇気がいりそうな本ですが・・・
とんでもない悪意にまみれながら気が滅入りつつも、なぜか読みやすいんだよな。

いじめを受けている中学生が、そのいじめの内容と恨みを綴ったノート。
母親は偶然にもそのノートを見つけ、そこではじめて息子がいじめにあっていることを知るのだけど、
歌野作品だけに、そこに綴られていること自体が真実かどうかすらあやしい・・・。
書いてあることをそのまんま信じちゃうか、疑って読むかでだいぶ違ってくると思います。
信じていたものさえ、読んでいくうちにグラついてくるし、人物の印象もコロコロと変わってきます。
歌野さんといえばポカーンとしちゃうような「大ドンデン返し」にも期待して間違いありません。

それにしても父親がいい年して常日頃からジョン・レノンのコスプレしてるって・・・。
それだけでもいじめの対象になるし、子供グレても仕方ないわ。照音くんには心から同情(T_T)
