いかに問題を解くかを、情報構造を踏まえて解説してくれる本です。
情報構造について書かれている本でこれだけ具体的な方法論を示してくれる本は、私には初めてです。

読む人を選ぶと思いますが、役立つ本だと思います。

MARCH＆早慶レベル以上の受験者ならば，誰しも必要な
「情報構造」による読解を細かく丁寧に解説してあります。

これまで，情報構造を謳った参考書は数少なくはありますが，
いくつか出版されてきました。

しかし，そのどれも不十分でレベル的に物足りないものであったり，
逆に突飛すぎて理解しにくかったりするものばかりでした。

そこで，本書は，文章構造(STRUCTURE)と情報構造(STYLE)に分けることで，
根底から応用まで分かりやすく説明してあります。

数多くある英語の問題集ではありますが，これは他にはない問題集ですので，
１冊持っていても絶対損はありません。ぜひGETしてみてください。

5.0 out of 5 stars 『1600円=リーズナブル』と思わせてくれた渾身の出来!!, 2008/10/9
単文解釈を中心にSTYLE&STRUCTUREという方法論の提示を行い、最後に和訳10題程度で主にSTRUCTURE、センテンス補充2題+パラグラフ補充2題で主にSTYLE確認という構成を取っている。

はっきり言ってレベルは相当高い。最低でも早稲田の英語に何とか食らいつける程度の人間でないと何も分からないと思われる。

問題私立:国立=6:4といったところか。本格的な記述論述問題はない。

方法論を一覧にしていたり、語句注が付いていたりするので使いやすいように配慮したのだと思われるが、徹底不足のようだ。
誤植が目立ち、語句注が付いていなかったりすることも多い。

編集に少し頑張って貰いたかったと思う。

是非とも次は本格的な長文問題集を、と著者達の次回作が期待したくなる力作である。
