エレキ歴は長いのですが、アコギを弾きたくなって買ってみました。
この本、左右の手のポジションなどの基礎は説明していないので、知識ゼロから入るのは難しいかと思います。
基礎をある程度、基本的な教則本で勉強して、何か物足りないなと思う時に、この本を読むと良いと思います。
「哀愁のダウンヒル循環」「ビート・ポップス反復」「美麗ダウンヒル」など、おお〜とうならせるコード進行が勉強できます。
弾いていて楽しいと思わせる要素がいっぱい！
「知識ゼロからの」はちょっと誇張なので、星４つ。

まず最初に、ゴンチチは名前は知っている程度で、特に思い入れがあるミュージシャン
ではありませんでした。

いままでギターの教則は５冊くらい買っていますが、この本は一味違う感触があります。
まずはドレミファソラシドをギターで弾くことからはじまります。
これがまずこの本の独特なところ。ゆくゆく分かってくる確信犯的な魔法にかかります。
非常にやさしくて親切です。他の教則本をを買うにしても、この本も絶対に一緒に買った
ほうがいいと思います。

本書の中のQ&Aで、「この本意外に買ったほうがいい教則本はありますか？」という問いに、
ゴンチチさんはこう答えております。
(1)お目当てのジャンルや奏法を、たっぷり解説した教則本。
(2)お気に入りのギタリストのコピー譜。
(3)コードブック
さらに、
「最近よく見かける教則DVDは、どうしても見ただけで出来るような気になって
しまう傾向にあるので、まずはこの本と格闘されることを強くおすすめします。」
と書いてありました。

なるほど。自分はこの本と格闘してみますよ。

初心者の方でこの本を購入を迷われている方へ、
「この本はギターをはじめて手にした人を想定して書かれています。この本を
踏み台にしてどんどん先に進んでいただきたい。」
と同じQ&Aの欄で書かれていますし、安心して購入してください。

よい評価やコメントが寄せられた教則本を何冊も持っていますが、
この教則本に出会えてよかったと実感しています。
ギターという楽器がますます楽しくなりそうです。

何といってもギターがより楽しくなる、そういう本だと思う。
さらっと流してあったりしますが、非常に奥が深く、すばらしい教則本です。
この本を手に取りギターを手に取り、さらに自分の興味あるジャンルへ導いてくれるそういった本です。個人的には３０年前に出会っていたらと思いました。
ギターをきちんと理解されているお二人がそのエッセンスを十分に味えられるように編集されていて、彼らの音楽の技術的背景が理解できるとも感じられました。ファンにとっても、ギタリストにとっても素晴らしい一冊ではないでしょうか。
とくにコードの意味合いや理解についてのコメントは非常に参考になりました。
