ひたすら沈鬱な作品。
作品の端々からエリクソンのエネルギーが迸っていた『Xのアーチ』は、ト ラウマ的饒舌にうなされながらもなかなか楽しめたのですが、今作は正直、 陰惨です。終わらない悪夢に終止符が打てない、というか、底なしの陥穽に はまったような感じで。

しかし混濁した空気を突き抜けようとするエリクソンの、作家としての意地 みたいなものが感じられて、救われる部分もあります。カオスのカレンダー を巡るエピソードは、悲痛ながらも彼らしい筋運びである意味痛快。
特筆すべきは、虚実入り混じった（歌舞伎町？）の描写でしょうか。
