リネン好きのわたしにとって、魅力的な作品が沢山載っていました。
タオルクロスで作るスカートと、表紙にもなっているスモッキングのブラウスを作ってみましたが。。。
スカートのウエスト部分・ブラウスの襟ぐり部分の始末が、本の通りだとやりにくい。
そんなに厚い生地を使ったわけではないし、指定の通りの幅で作ったバイアスを使っているけれど縫いにくいしごろつくし。
結局アレンジして作り直しました。
どなたかもレビューで述べておられましたが、スモッキングの仕方も位置もアバウトで、もう少し詳しい説明がほしかったです。　
初心者の方には、作ってる途中で疑問や悩みが出てくることが多いかも。。。。

この本に出てくるお洋服ならば、
初めてお洋服にチャレンジする方でも
安心して作れると思います^^

最後まであきらめないで、根気良く暇を見つけて
縫い続ければ…
素敵なリネンのお洋服が完成します。
（リネンの生地が高いとは言っても、
　既製品を買うよりは作ったほうが断然安いのはまちがいないです）

シンプルで、ちょっとゆったりめな雰囲気がお好きな方、
オススメです。
お洋服をすでにたくさん作られている方には
物足りないかも…というわけで、星４つです。

かわいくてシンプルな服を探していたけど、「ほしいなぁ」と思うと結構な値段だったりして、なかなか買えませんでした。でもこの本を見て
「なーんだ。これなら作ったほうがいいかも」と思い、只今パンツを製作中です。子育ての合間のわずかな時間ですが、1週間もかからず作れそうです。洋裁初心者ですが、この本の服作りはまるで手芸のように簡単に感じます。洋裁上級者にはものたりないかもしれませんが、初心者にはいいかも。とっつきやすい本だと感じました。
