著者について

霞田兄妹シリーズは太田忠司氏のもっとも本格推理小説らしいシリーズで、いつも新たな仕掛けやこだわりの内容があり、発表されたすべての作品を楽しく読んでいた。今回でこのシリーズが終了になるとのことでさぞかし凝った内容を期待したのだが、残念ながらトリックもこだわりの対象も無く淡々とした内容であった。読みやすく安心してストーリーの中に入っていけるのではあるが、本格推理小説が好きな私としてはちょっと期待はずれでした。もちろん決して悪い作品ではないので読んで損はないと思うのですが。
