忌野 清志郎
バンドマン。’51年生まれ。’70年RCサクセションとして「宝くじは買わない」でデビュー、10年連続武道館公演などの実績を残す。’91年RCサクセション活動休止後もソロ活動の他、俳優や絵本の執筆など活動は多岐に渡る。「初代自転車名人」として表彰されサイクリストとしても知られる。’05年にはデビュー35周年を迎えますます精力的に活動する。’06年10月、スティーブ・クロッパーをプロデューサーに迎え、ナッシュビルで録音したアルバム『夢助』発売(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

こいつを街の図書館で見つけたときには「こんな本を公共施設に置いといていいのかよ？」
ってな感じだったけど、この本に出会えたきっかけを作ってくれた図書館の職員の方には、
とても感謝しています。オリジナルには付録CDがついていて、こいつがまたイイんですよ。
ブルージーでユーモアがあって・・もう本当に理屈じゃないんだな。章のあとに載ってる
レコードを手に入れて、じっくりと笑って考えて納得して読み聞きしたらいいと思います。
合間に差し込まれた芸術的なイマーノさんの絵画作品も素ん晴らしい！

清志郎のあふれる才能に改めて驚かされた一冊。

「君が代」問題からインディーズでのＣＤ発売を余儀なくされた当時の清志郎の本音が、
芸術的とも言うべきユーモアをもって語られている。
立ち読みしたらつい笑ってしまい恥ずかしいこと間違いなしのユーモアをそこかしこに
散りばめていながら、一貫して流れるのは切ない程の「自由」への熱い思い。

虚構と現実が行き来する文体は、日記的章段と随筆的章段とが織り交ざる『枕草子』を
思い出させる名著。
文はもちろん、絵もすばらしい。
一流な人は何をやらせても一流なのだとため息をつくばかり。

清志郎に興味がある方、発売禁止騒動当時の彼を知りたい方はもちろん、
自由を愛する全ての人にこの本を勧めたい。

清志郎は、天才作家でもある。

それはこの本によって証明されている。

各話ひとつひとつが読みきりのサイケデリックな小説のような
情景豊かでわけの分からない、でもなんだかいとおしい物語が展開する。
文体は非常に読みやすく、思わず「クスッ」と笑ってしまう
ギャグがちりばめられている。

つぎの話で、前話が見事にフェードアウトする。そこも痛快だ。

人々はすれ違って生きていく。でもそれぞれにドラマがある。
清志郎が、あの独特の間合いで、人間を描いてみせる。
非常に卓越した文章のセンスが光る。

私は正直、彼の歌より、この本での文章のほうが好きだ。

どんな才能のある作家がどう頭をひねっても、
この独特の「清志郎文体」は再現することができない。
ほんとうに素晴らしい。

騙されたと思って買ってみてください。
