独特の世界を描いてる割には、説明が少なすぎると感じました。
人物の会話や戦闘シーンも、何が面白いのかわからなかった。
絵はよかっただけに残念です。
前半の日常はまだしも、後半は説明不足のまま危機に見舞われて、ご都合主義に解決･･･という話でがっかりしてしまいました。

新シリーズ「氷結鏡界のエデン」の１巻目です。

世界を守護する結界を司る「世界の中心にいる」女の子と、それと対照的に、とある理由で「世界から拒絶された」双剣使いの少年が巡りあう物語です。

「黄昏色の詠使い」当時から定評のあった情景描写と心情描写に加え、今回はとにかく主人公が格好良かったです。双剣使いとしての強さだけじゃなく、ヒロインとの誓いを守るという意思の上でも。

前半はコメディパートを交えつつ、後半はスピード感ある熱いバトルシーン。
特に、既にレビューを書かれている方も薦めているように、「もう一つのコード」が展開されるシーンは、これが細音啓だと言わんばかりの切なさと盛り上がりで一気に胸が熱くなりました。

透明感ある美しい世界観と熱い心情がこめられた良作だと思います。

「黄昏色の詠使い」の細音啓さんの新作です。

舞台は来襲する謎の生命体から、巫女の結界によって守られる浮遊大陸。
居住区に暮らすシェルティスの訳アリな過去とは…
「世界」に拒絶された少年は「世界の中心」の少女の隣へ還ることができるのか？
というのが大筋のようです。

黄昏〜シリーズの名詠(≒召喚呪文）に位置づけられるのは、
巫女が結界を張るための呪歌・ソフィアコード。
（前作読者なら「！」となる単語も潜んでますよ〜）

平和な日常→異変の気配→事件→ひとまず解決…
という王道パターンなんですが、
この巻終盤、「もうひとつ」のコードが出てくるあたりからは
予定調和な展開だけど「やっぱりこうでなきゃ」的な味わいがあります。

前作の学園ものベースよりは主人公層の年齢が上がっていますが、
世界観が広がって1巻から伏線ばしばしな今作も良いですよ〜
