   日本映画としてはめずらしく、男と女の性を真正面からとらえ、官能的な映像に結実させた1編。小池真理子の原作のテーマを損なうことなく、見事に映画化された。中学時代から正巳に好意を持っていた類子だが、正巳は親友の阿佐緒に想いを寄せていた。その後、図書館司書となった類子は、妻子ある男との肉体関係に溺れていたときに阿佐緒と再会。親子ほど年の離れた精神科医と結婚を決めた阿佐緒のパーティに招かれた類子は、そこで正巳とも会う。
   時を経た親友3人の関係は、再会によって濃密になっていくのだが、正巳が性的不能であるという事実が、さらに関係をややこしくしていく。要所に鮮烈な性描写があり、なかでも、類子が不能の正巳と何とか結ばれようとするシーンは痛々しくもエロティック。しかし、映画全体に漂うのは、純愛のようなピュアな美しさだ。正巳が傾倒する三島由紀夫作品との関係など、文学的要素も多く、結末が、さまざまな想像をかき立てる。主演3人は、複雑な役を文字通り体当たりで演じきり、背景となる70~80年代のカルチャーが、どこか郷愁を誘う。（斉藤博昭）

高岡早紀さんが出るので見に行ったんですが、
それよりも板谷さんの演技というか脱ぎっぷりはすばらしかった。
見ているこちら側が恥ずかしくなるくらいだった。

いろんな映画を作っている篠原哲雄監督といろんな映画に出ている（脱いでいる）高岡早紀の映画。さすがに映画作りは手慣れたモノで、物語の展開からカメラワーク、音響にいたるまで、うまい映画作りだと思う。多くのプロの手にかかる経緯がよく解るので、映画作りを目指す大学の映画クラブなどは必見。お金を出してＤＶＤを買った顧客としては、高岡早紀は好きだが、筋がすっきりこない不満が残る。

イントロ、大衆食堂でヒロインが定食を食べるシーンから引き込まれます。この辺、監督のキャラが反映されてそうでいいですね。原作は女の生理的な部分の内向性が生々しく描かれていて重厚な作品なのですが、これをウ"ィジュアル的に表現するのは凄く大変だったでしょうね。もう女優さんの演技力頼みでしょうから…そういう意味では板谷由夏さん、かなり頑張ってると思います。ただ相手役の男優さんが板谷さんの演技レベルまで到達してなかった様な気がします。感情の無いセリフ回しが鼻に付いてまるでロボットの様だ。おまけに尻の上のタトゥーがやけに目障りに感じた。家政婦役の中村久美さんなどは原作のイメージ通りにほぼ完璧な役作りで舌を巻いたんですが…キャスティングのバランスが悪いですね。全体的な評価としては微妙な作品です。
