『車掌』編集長が書く人気連載の単行本化。
とにかく意外な用法で笑えます。繰り返しによって印象を強める、として
「クロックマダムは、ハムのかわりに、ゆでたトリのささ身、ゆでたトリのささ身を用います」
からはじまり、「※印…くりかえし」と指示をつける用法が紹介される
に至っては大笑い。
ほかにも料理のレシピや日本国憲法に至るさまざまな例文を通して、
楽しくつづり方が学べます。
なお、実用書として読んでは野暮というもの。そのスタイルを借りた
エッセイ、評論、純文学、です。でも私はこの本のおかげで文章の
ゆかいさが数倍跳ね上がりました。

文章についてもう少し切りこんで欲しかった。
なんとなく中途半端な印象です。

著者の皮肉も切れ味はいまひとつです。
こういう投稿ものはブラックジョークが効いていて
寝酒の友にぴったりなのですが・・・

期待度が大きかったので星３つです。
