読み進むにつれて面白くなった。
愛すべきキャラとストーリーは良かった。
でも、これはほんとドラマの脚本。
小説ではない。なにしろ文章力が、、、。
ドラマ化したらテレビで見れば良い。
ドラマ化は希望。

この小説。下町で古書店兼カフェを営む四世帯九人の大家族堀田家と、
その周辺で暮らす人たちの間に起こる様々な事件、そして春夏秋冬、
一年の泣き笑いが懐かしのホームドラマ仕立てで描かれていて、とても面白かった。

沢山の登場人物も１人ずつ丁寧に設定されているので読み進めて行くにつれ、
頭の中で勝手に登場人物をキャスティングして楽しめたし。
（ちなみに僕は老主人・勘一を六平直政さん、長男で伝説のロッカー我南人を
佐野元春さんが老けた姿、で想像してました。皆さんはどんなキャスティングしますか？）

それから、何より良いなぁ、と思えたのは、一話毎のエピソードが
日々の暮らしと結びつきながら、しっかりと季節の流れの中、
前向きな時間を刻んでいた事！！

変わり続けていく世の中に、変わらない大切なものを知ってる人たちの居る作品。

まさに、「LOVEだねぇ」。。

ウチのようなマンション暮らしでは、絶対にお目にかかれない４世代同居の
家族のお話は、とってもＬＯＶＥな物語でした。

タイトルにもなっている「東京バンドワゴン」とは、その家族が営んでいる
古本屋さんの屋号です。
で、その古本屋さんを舞台に起こる色々な問題を、家族８人家族が一致団結、
もしくはお父さんのＬＯＶＥで解決していきます。
ちなみに家族構成は、店主でちょっと頑固な江戸っ子のお祖父ちゃん。
そして、「ＬＯＶＥ」を何よりも大切にしているお父さん。その子ども達で、
個性的な面々の藍子、紺、青の三人と紺のお嫁さん。それから藍子と紺の
それぞれの子どもひとりずつ合計８人で、とてもにぎやかに暮らしています。
そして、なんと言っても、結構いろいろワケありでも、おおらかに受け入れて
いるところが、この家族のすばらしいところです。

話の内容は、

　・一歩間違えると変質者「春―百科事典はなぜ消える」
　・青の押しかけフィアンセのお話「夏―お嫁さんはなぜ泣くの」
　・古書にまつわる事件３連発「秋―犬とネズミとブローチと」
　・ひと目晴れ姿を・・・・「冬―愛こそすべて 」　
　
と、４つのお話からなっていますが、それぞれのお話の中にも、いくつかの小さな
謎が絡まりあっていたりして、それが解かれていく面白さあり、家族を一番大事に
するという愛がぎっしりありで、読み応え十分。

特に、最後のお話「冬―愛こそすべて 」では、子ども側からすると身勝手な母親
なんだけど、そんな彼女の願いを叶えようとするお父さんのＬＯＶＥに、読んでいて
ホロリとしたりします。

一番大切なのは、やっぱり愛！
家族愛をたっぷり感じたい時に読むにはバッチリな本です。
