塩山 芳明
1953年、群馬県富岡市生まれ。72年に上京、牛乳配達、私大夜間部学生、ホテル掃除夫等を経て、77年(有)遠山企画入社。93年漫画屋設立に参加。現在、代表。十数年前から、富岡から飯田橋まで、新幹線で遠距離通勤中。エロ漫画業界の衰退と編集者としての感性の老化を悟り、50代は文化人でしのごうと悪戦苦闘中(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

知る人ぞ知る編プロ「漫画屋」代表、塩山芳明氏が過去に書いた書評、映画評を中心としたコラム集です。
基本的には塩山氏の文章を楽しむ本でしょう。「出版業界最底辺物語」を読んで面白いと思った人には十分楽しめると思います(私も「出版業界最底辺物語」を読んで塩山氏を知り、この本を買ってしまった一人)
ただ思うのは本々塩山氏を知らない読者には手をつけにくいのではないか、ということ。取り上げている映画、書籍も古いものがほとんどで、必ずしも一般向けではないのでは?という印象。エロ漫画に関しては一部マニアにしか分からないものも多い。
それでも塩山氏の文章の面白さを味わうだけでもこの本は十分価値があると思うのだか、願わくば、塩山氏の最新の映画(もしくは書籍)の評論を読んでみたい。それもできれば塩山氏が好むマニアックなものではなく、世間的にも知れ渡っている作品の。純粋に塩山氏の文章を読みたいだけではなく、これこそ名文家、塩山芳明を世に知らしめるいい方法だと思うのだが、どうだろう?塩山氏がもっと世間のスポットライトをあびてもいいと、私は思うのだが...
