スタジオ４℃の短編作品集「デジタルジュース」の１編「月夜の晩に」のムック本です。
本作がパイロットフィルムだけにストーリーらしいストーリーはないのですが、
それだけに監督である柳沼和良氏の表現したい事や世界観がダイレクトに伝わる感じがします。
「絵」が見られないと本作の良さは伝わらないと思いますので監督の名前や作品名でググって

一度動いてる絵を見て欲しいと思います。
一つ難点が有るとすれば本作の原作とも言える「ヒッピーちゃん」と言う漫画が有るのですが
世界観を知る上でも重要なサブテキストになるので抜粋でも掲載して欲しかった所です。
（雑誌「キャラクターデザイナー」創刊号に収録されてます）

その辺を差し引いて星４つにしようかと思いましたが、この本が売れて本編アニメ化に
つながれば良いなと言う願いを込めて星５つです。
