うしおととら以来、長編も短編も全て追ってきたけれど、この月光条例はどうにもいまいち乗り切れない。
絵柄も台詞回しも確かに藤田和日朗のそれなのに、どこかちぐはぐな感じが拭えない。
おとぎ話の扱い方もイマイチで、原典の魅力を再発見させてくれるような構成でもなく、かと言って新たな解釈を提示するようなものでもなく、更には各キャラクターのドラマに対応するわけでもなく、殆どが単なるウルトラマンの怪獣のような扱いなのが残念。
うしおととらの妖怪が単に人間を襲うモンスターでなく、各キャラクターが抱いている葛藤の象徴であったように、おとぎ話が単に話を展開させるためだけの道具に留まらない展開を望みます。

これを５冊読むより。
マッチ売りの少女について、うしとらで書かれていたので、
それを描いて終わりにするんだろうと思ってたんですが。
オリジナルの素晴らしい長編や短編が描ける方が
どうしてこんなパロディーものを延々とやる必要があるんでしょう？

はっきり言って主役たちがへーまとリョーコにしか見えないし、
新キャラのはずの図書委員も菊のような…。
唯一オリジナルと言えそうな美女鉢かずきも、
しろがね、「永劫の」アンジェリーナ、「天使」フランシーヌには敵いません。
藤田氏の作品で初めて退屈さを感じました。
今までの連載で、１巻で読者を惹きつけて虜にしてみせた
あの凄さはどこへ行ったんでしょう。
残念でなりません。
他の作品を連載していただきたい。
要望も多く寄せられていることですし。

シンデレラ編あたりで一つのピークを迎えました。
作者の思い入れも強い長編のほうができが良いようです。
５巻は「ブレーメンの音楽隊」と「おむすびころりん」が
メインとなっています。
しかし、キャラクターのモンスター度が上がりすぎて、
妖怪物か怪獣物に近くなってきています。
（読んだすぐ後なのにストーリーを思い出せません。）
もとネタがいいのですからもっといいものをと思うのですが。
６巻を買うかどうか迷っています。
