クライマックスの凄まじいカーチェイスとアクションが圧巻。
大詰めに至るまでの複数の人間ドラマも人情の機微が細かく
豊かに描かれている。

主人公の山中は、銀行強盗で気楽に人生を歩もうと考えている
男だが、捨てようとした女性ミチの献身的な優しさに触れて、
愛情の大切さと暖かさを実感する。

主演の渡瀬恒彦（山中役）と杉本美樹（ミチ役）は、ハードな
アクションシーンも果敢に演じ、観客の心に緊張感と感動を与
えてくれる。

男色の実業家を演じた林彰太郎の怪演は怖かった。

カネは人を狂わす!ということが物語られ、恐い反面かなり面白い!深作組らしい、最近じゃあんな街中でのカーチェイスや爆破シーンはできないと思うので、DVD化して残すべき作品である!

渡瀬恒彦がいかに東映アクションを引っ張っていたかが分かる和製極上エンタテイメント。中島監督の「狂った野獣」の兄弟作のような内容だが、カーアクションと破滅度はこちらが上。
