5.0 out of 5 stars ユーミンが大好きな街’’神戸’’, 2002/10/5
ユーミンは神戸が大好きとのことで、タワーサイドメモリーなんかは阪神大震災の時にラジオで彼女が泣きしながらON　AIRした曲。
本当にユーミンは神戸が好きなんだなぁ…と実感しました。
アルバムとしては渋い方に入るのだと感じますが、逆にそれがいい感じです。ユーミン初心者というよりは上級者編とでもいった感じのような気がします。

もちろん、誰もが知っている名曲「守ってあげたい」などが収録されているので初心者の人が聴いても楽しめる一枚だと思います。
個人的には「A　HAPPY　NEW　YEAR」がすごく好きです。
誰かを本当に愛してる、そんなひたむきな感じがたまらなく好きです。

とても完成度の高いアルバムです。アクの強い曲がないのに、どの曲もすぺてがユーミンそのものって感じです。今のユーミン・サウンドになる前の「古き良き時代のユーミン」がギュッと詰まった、荒井由実時代から続くユーミン・ワールドの集大成といったアルバムだと思います。
街角のペシミスト、カンナ８号線、A Happy New Yearなど珠玉の名曲がギッシリ！　９０年代以降のユーミンしか聞いたことのない人たちに、是非じっくり聞いて欲しい１枚です。

私は熱心なユーミン・ファンではありません（ごめんなさい）。ロック寄りの音が好みなのですが、この作品と「水の中のアジアへ」は大好きです。

多分アレンジが聴きやすい（デジタル系楽器が少ない）せいだと思うのですが、それ以上にメロディーと詞が好きで、「カンナ・・」「守って・・」「グループ」「ＨＡＰＰＹ・・」が特に良いです。センチメンタルだけど甘すぎない、バランスの良い作品集。

「恋人はサンタクロース」「真夏の夜の夢」など派手な曲はちとつらいと感じる私ですが、この作品はマイ・フェイバリット。コアなファンの方の評価はいかがですか？
