石井ゆかりさんは、
星の天気予報士さんだ、と思っている。

普通の星占いは、例えば、みずがめ座に雨が降る、というとき
雨に濡れて、寒い思いをしそう！という風に予言する。

でも、石井さんの占いは違う。
雨が降りますよ、傘を持っていった方がいいかもね、
と、"予報する"だけ。
そして
雨って地面からいい匂いがしますよね、
と言ってくる。
雨が降る、と言う事象は変わらなくても、
読んだ人は、そうか、じゃあ今日は雨の匂いを楽しもうかな
って思えるのだ。

つらいことばかりな気がする毎日
それでも顔を上げて生きる人たちへの
いってらっしゃい、私も出かけるよ、
っていう天気予報。
それが石井さんの星占いだ、って思う。

この本は石井さんが
その「星占いぬき」で放つラブレターだ。
予報なしで、ラブだけ。
ラブレターと言う名前なのに、
励ましではなく、
怒りが、悲しみが、さみしさが、この本には満ちている。
けど、読むと、励まされます。
私も明日も生きるよ、と言いたくなる。

天気予報は、一方通行だけど、
ラブレターは違う。
返事が書ける。

石井さんの手紙に励まされて生きる、っていうのが
字のない手紙でかく返事なんじゃないかな、と思います。

なぜでしょう？こんなに染みてくるのは。
自分の心にあっても表せないことが、言葉になって目の前にある。そんな感じです。

読んでいるうちに、読み進むにつれ、自分の今までとこれからに思いを巡らせてしまって…
本を読んでいるのか、それとも自分の思いに耽っているのかわからなくなってくるみたいな。
不思議体験をさせてもらいました。

友人たちの顔が次々に浮かんで、読んでみてって配りたい衝動に駆られます。
押し売りするわけにいかないから（笑）

お誕生日プレゼントの定番になりそうです。

次の本もその次も。楽しみでたまりません。

まず立ち読みだけでも〜おすすめします。明日もがんばろって思えること確実♪♪
