悪いのは編集者でしょう。堀江氏はインタビューの受け手で、ざっくばらんに答えてるだけです。それを解説するように本人の文章がつづきますけども、もともと何か書きたいものがあったようには思えません。企画段階で堀江氏との詰めが甘い。彼の良さは、ぼやっとした語りで本質を言葉足らずに語るところ。フォローがないと彼はショートカットして言葉を使うので、分かりにくいのです。それがそのまま本になってしまった。そんな気がします。

ホリエモンはブログが面白くて時々拝見させてもらっており
この本も興味を抱き購入しました。
まあ冒頭から気になったのは『お金をもっているということは信用があるということ』という言葉。
この説明にかなりの時間を割いていたような気がします。
たしかに、日本という国では（世界中で・・かも知れませんが）、お金を持っていると
何もしなくても嫉妬や妬みといったような負の感情の対象となってしまうことがあります。
有名税なんて言い方もされますが
そのバッシングを一番受けていたのはホリエモンであるのは間違いありません。
ホリエモンがそのことに関する嫌悪というか、とにかくその印象を払しょくしたいという意図はよくわかるのですが、今回の本で『金持ち＝信用がある＝コミュニケーション能力がある』という発言は、何か自分へのバッシングを強く意識した論理構造であるように思えてまりません。
たしかにホリエモンにはコミュニケーション能力がたけていたからこそ、人脈の構築ができ、
ライブドアをあそこまで肥大化させてそれにたいする自負心があったかとは思いますが、決してそれ単独の力で為せたことではなかったと思います。
やはり自身の能力が何事をも可能にさせるという自負があればこそ、あのような社会的な成功がありえたのでしょうが、もって生まれた環境的な差異を軽視している感が否めませんでした。
もちろん僕はアンチ堀江でもなくどちらかといえば共感を持っているほうの人間なのですが、今回の本は、新資本論とういうタイトルをかざしておりながらも、普遍的な理論というよりは、自己の正当性をアピールするという意味合いが強かったのかなと思います。
