短編だけあってそれぞれ試行錯誤(実験？)的なモノを感じました。

一つ一つそれなりに面白いのですが
「PRESENT FOR ME」や「それ町」が テーマや作品として洗練された印象が強く
それらを読んだ後だと
少し物足りなさや中途半端感を感じるかも知れません。

他の作品が「気軽に読んで楽しい」「繰り返して読むと発見がある」と
ライトな漫画読み においしい本だとしたら
この探偵綺譚はクリエイターやマニアックな視点からの方が
楽しめるんじゃないかなという風に感じました。

短編集とはいえ、作者の他の作品とは全く比較にならないほど平凡な内容です。
ギャグも滑り気味のものばかりで、けっこう厳しいです。

石黒氏の他の作品を全て読み終えてから、氏の資料的な価値を見出して読むにはいいかもしれません。

発表年代も掲載紙もかぶっているのに、氏のもう一つの作品集「Present for me」のクオリティには遠く及ばないのが不思議です。（こちらは掲載紙がバラバラだということもあるのでしょうが）

石黒氏の作品を読んだことが無い方は、これは一番後回しで。
これを読んでしまったことで、他の作品に手が出なくなるのは　あまりにもったいないので。

裏表紙に＜嵐山歩鳥＆紺双葉＞と書いてあります。
現在の『それ町』の番外編かと思って表題作を読み始めましたが、
一寸違和感がありました。
それもそのはず、「『それ町』の企画段階で描いた短編」とのことで、
『それ町』とは設定が違う話でした。
でも、歩鳥は可愛いし、歩鳥ファンには見逃せない一冊です。
『血の連判状』は、物騒なタイトルですが、
実はギャグで味付けした歴史漫画です。
台詞が絶妙で異様に面白いし、
ヒロインのおハナちゃんが魅力的で、
私のお気に入りの一編です。
他にも「鯨井」という女子高生が出てくる話があったり、
石黒ファンにはたまらない短編集です。
