ポンチョやケープが全18点載っていて、難易度は初級から中級くらい(あくまで私の受けた感じです。もしかしたら世間ではこの本に載ってる程度のは初級というのかもしれないが…(^-^; ))。どれもかわいい! なのに☆4つなのは、使ってる糸の標準ゲージが載ってないからです(因みにダルマイングスの糸が使われてます)。作品に使われてるのと同じ糸を買って編め、というのが出版側の意図なんでしょうが、毛糸のストックを山ほど抱えている身としては、手元にある糸の中からゲージがあう糸を見繕ってそれで編みたいわけで。それが簡単にできないこの本の作り方はどうよ?とか思ったので☆を減らしました。…もっとも、出版社がどうこうというより、ダルマイングスの糸自体標準ゲージを示していないみたいなので(ダルマイングスの糸は持っていないんですが、ネットで調べた感じではそのようです…違ってたらスミマセン)、出版社を責めても仕方ないのでしょうが…。

かぎ編み、棒編み、かぎ編み＋棒編みなどの基本的な編み方で作れる作品が揃っていました。
ｵｼｬﾚで可愛らしいものかた年齢を選ばないﾃﾞｻﾞｲﾝまでﾗｲﾝも幅広く、一冊で自分用、ﾌﾟﾚｾﾞﾝﾄ用などに活用できそうです。
私はｹﾞｰｼﾞを全く気にせず、針のｻｲｽﾞと本が使用している糸の太さでだいたい自分の使う糸の目星をつけ、そもそも本通りのｻｲｽﾞでは小さくて着られない(笑)体型なため、実寸であわせて作っていくので、本の標示をさほど気にしていないのですが…確かに手持ちの違う糸で編みたい方には情報が足らず、不親切かもしれません。
ただし日本ヴォーグ社はその点、WEBや電話から問い合わせをかければ親切に対応してくれますので、足りない情報は自分で補ってもいいかなと思います。
一冊で何点も編みたいものがある本を探すのは結構手間ですが、そういう意味では使える本だと思いました。
