なんだか「愛撫」というとちょっときわどい感じがするけれども、この
本はむしろ、親子のスキンシップについて相当数ページを割いていること
からもわかるように、ひろく人同士の触れあいについて述べたものである。
サルの実験や人間の実例から、親と触れ合わなかった子供は、安定した
成長ができなかったことがわかってくる。赤ちゃんを抱き、体操させたり
することの重要さをみていく。
日本ではもともと親子ですらハグしたりしないし、小学生くらいで触れあい
はなくなってしまう。その上最近は「子供にさわれない」という！！
日本人だってアメリカ人くらい接触してもよいのではないか？
親子関係についてみたあと、愛撫の感覚、愛撫の効果などをみていく。
患者にさわってあげると心拍数がさがったりするというし、怖いと思わず
手をつないだりということもあるから、やはり何らかの効果はあるだろ
う。
日本では欧米より少ないと思われる「愛撫」についてポジティブに楽しく
考えられる一作。

タイトルに惹かれて購入して、一気に読んでしまいました！
ちょうど育児の真っ只中にいるため、我が子とのスキンシップのとり方がよくわかりました。タッチケアも始めてみると、子どもがほとんどぐずらなくなりました。効果抜群です！！
夫とのスキンシップのやり方や恋人とのスキンシップ、癒し効果まで誰にとっても役に立つ情報だと思います。

読みやすくて面白いのがいいですね。

触れてあげること、抱きしめてあげること、微笑むこと。
それがどれだけ大事なことか、赤ちゃんに、そしてパートナーに、どれだけ深い影響があるかということがよくわかる本です。子供に抱き癖がつくなんて嘘。川の字になって寝るのは正しい。子供は小さい時に徹底的に愛してあげること、触ってあげること。

それが、しっかりと自立して精神的に安定した大人を作り上げるのだそうです。私はこの本を４冊買って、子供が生まれた妹と友人、そして彼氏にあげました。
