新刊が出るとのことでまた１巻から通して読み返したのですがどうやら正解だったようです。
今巻では表紙の詰め込み具合を見れば分かるように様々なイベントが仕込まれており、
最初期から貼られていた伏線の回収や各キャラの進化など見どころが非常に多く文句のない出来栄えでした。
特に終盤の夕日のエピソードは白眉で掌握領域の下りは漫画を読んでいて久々に鳥肌が立ちました…。

そしてついにラストバトルが始まるのかという期待で胸がいっぱいです。
ラスボスに勝てるのか？　倒したあと本当に地球を破壊するのか？　夕日が他の騎士団と戦うことになるのか？
この素晴らしい作品も終盤に差し掛かり寂しくなると思っていたのですが期待度の方が数段も上なのは喜ばしいことです。
どのような決着をつけるのか楽しみにしています。

この８巻で相手をする敵は恐ろしいほどに強大。一発くらえば死に直結するのは間違いありません。それでもただ緊張感があるだけのバトルになっていないのが素晴らしい。やはり笑いとシリアスのバランスが非常に良い作品です。

この巻では騎士の中でも一番達観している風巻が能力で壁に行きあたります。それと並行して敵の泥人形１１体目の葛藤も描かれます。何を以って自己とするかを悩む千変万化の怪物。今まで固定概念に縛られていた風巻はそれを打ち破り、泥人形のアイデンティティを無形の心の投影、そして自分の一部だと語る。互いに敵対する相手に感化され、一つの答えにたどり着く様は圧巻でした。

他にも、半月の天才たる所以や夕日の境地とも言える新技など、見どころがたくさん詰まった一冊でした。それにしても夕日は本当に成長し素晴らしい主人公になりましたね。その証が３２ページの「ぼくはすごくないですよ」という言葉とそのあとの横顔に集約されているとしみじみ感じました。

この８巻で全ての騎士たちにスポットが当たりました。きちんと時間をかけキャラを描写しているおかげでどのキャラも言うことに説得力があり読んでいて引き込まれるようになっています。

８巻まで来てもダレルことなく物語は疾走します。
この先どう話が進むのかが非常に楽しみな作品。
やはりこの漫画は面白い。自信を持ってオススメできる漫画です。

まず表紙に主人公側が勢ぞろいしていますが「最終巻」では無いです。
作者もコメントで謳っています。

地球を破壊する「ビスケットハンマー」の稼働を阻止するために
獣の騎士団が敵に立ち向かう。
そんなお話。


構成が非常に上手く、セリフの妙もあり非日常の一大スペクタルのはずなのに
うまく日常に落とし込んであります。
ですからより物語に入り込んでいける。

人物の表情が豊か、セリフが的確で感情の把握が楽にできる
（スムーズに集中して物語を味わうには必須だと…）。

感動、友情、想い合い、熱い、笑いと盛りだくさんなのに
それが絶妙に構成されていますから、マンガ好きならどの方にもオススメ。
ちょっと凝ったマンガを探している方には、さらに強くオススメします。
サクサクとじっくり読めます。

追伸
この巻ラストのB.D.Mの登場には「ぞくっ（興奮で背筋が…）」と来ました。
ほんとは笑うところ。じゃ無いですよね？
