ドストエフスキー
1821~1881。モスクワ出身。処女作『貧しき人々』で文壇の寵児となるが、空想社会主義サークルとの関与で逮捕され、シベリアに投獄される。出獄後は持病の癲癇に苦しみながら締め切りに追われる作家生活を送った。ロシア文学の最高峰、国民的作家である(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

漫画で読破の愛読者です。
しかし、この一冊は難しい。
1回読んでも、あまり意味が分からず、2回目で何となくわかりました。
自殺のことを肯定したり、悪意に対して善意で答えてしまったという自責の念など・・・。
かなり哲学的で、漫画といってもよく読まないと理解できませんでした。

でも何となく読んで充実感がありました。

このシリーズは大好きですが、この作品はイマイチでした。
例えば、最初のページで「轍（わだち）」と書かれていますが、「轍って何ですか？」と思いました。
同じく最初のページで、「悪霊」と書いて「おに」と読むそうですが、「悪霊は日本で言う鬼ですか？」と疑問を持ったまま読み始める結果になりました。
ともかく「詰め込み過ぎ」「その癖、無駄な会話やコマが多い」「演出が単調（似たようなコマが100個ぐらいありそうだ）」「顔のアップが多い（駄作漫画の典型例）」「話があっちこっちに飛んで物語を理解できない」などなど…。
シャートフが最初から最後までずっと似たような顔してるのは、逆に笑ってしまったさｗ
よって☆３つ。
