目まぐるしく毎日マスコミで心的外傷がもてはやされていますが、それをどうしたらいいのかという議論はまだ足並みがそろっていないように思われます。この本では各論でそれぞれの対策についてやチェックリスト、図表も多く取り入れ、わかりやすいです。また値段も手頃なので手に入れやすいのでは。

　思っていたよりずっと小さい手のひらサイズの本でした。内容もトラウマの種類別に分類されており、かつチェックリストも豊富で、現場に携帯できる優れものという感じです。震災のボランティア等で急にでるときも携帯でき、かつ対応の際の注意点なんかも載っているので一冊持っていると便利だと思います。

PTSDが流行してかなりの年月が経ちました。しかし、その概念をやさしくかつ専門的に解説している本は少ないのが現状です。また、PTSDの研究論文は、日々発表されていて最新の情報をつかみにくいです。この本は、厚生労働省のPTSD研究班が作成したものですから信憑性は高く、読みやすいものです。ハンディータイプなので電車の中でも読めます。
