本の表紙を見て島耕作は年をとってもかっこいいなと思いました。今回の作品でついに常務昇進。課長島耕作時代から見ると成長がうかがえます。しかし、今回の作品では島耕作はあまり活躍していません。少しおとなし目におさえてあるかな・・？

相も変わらずの島耕作ワールドではあるが、現在の日中関係が判りやすく書いてある。ノンフィクションではないが、考えることを忘れ、また、そんな時間も無い日本人の大人には、丁度良い感じ。弘兼さんありがとう。

島耕作シリーズの最新刊です。

今回からタイトル通り常務になり、中国全土の責任者として新たな展開を予感させます。
新任取締役兼上海担当の八木氏との絡みも興味深い。

内容は相変わらず良くできていますが、いつもよりボリューム不足（ページ数が少ない）なので、星１つマイナスです。
