加納さんの新作、タイトルからして楽しみにしていました。
冒頭の部長・神の書いた飛行倶楽部の活動内容。
コレ、結構インパクトありました。
おつきあいで入ったクラブで海月が成長していく様も、もちろん面白いが、メンバー全員がちょっとずつ変わっていくのも良い。
自分勝手でマイペースだと思っていた樹絵里が、『二人組』をいつも怖がっていたことがわかったり、意地悪イライザが本当は海月が好きで、言っていいこと悪いことの区別がつかないだけだったり…。
障害者の姉を守るために、もう一人子供を産むことにした神の両親。
そのことに憤る海月。
海月の両親は、かつて『男の子が欲しかった？女の子が欲しかった？』と問うた時に『海月が欲しかった』と答えた。
それが当たり前と思って育った海月。
このエピソード、素敵だと思いました。
こんなふうに子育てしたいね。
初出が別冊文芸春秋の連載だった知り、ビックリ。
あとがきで、加納さんが『底抜けに明るい、青春物語が書きたくなりました。』と書かれていました。
もちろん大人にも読んで欲しいと思いますが、リアルタイムの中学生たちに是非ぜひ読んでもらいたい一冊でした。
底抜けに明るい気持ち良い作品でした。

久々にすばらしい本に出会いました。
タイトルに惹かれて何気なく手に取り購入…家に帰って少しだけ読んでみるかと思ったが気付けば3時間経っていました。それくらい話がテンポよく進んでいきます。


ひょんなことから飛行クラブに入部してしまった主人公と独特な仲間との物語。
自分も中学生のころの憧れや空想を思いだし懐かしくなりました。


是非みなさんに読んでほしい一冊です。

　中学生の飛行クラブが熱気球で空を飛ぶ！

　いい話だな〜〜

　主人公の斎藤神は、障害者の姉・エンゼを守る為に生まれてきた。
両親はエンゼよりも早く死ぬ。エンゼはひとりきりでは生きていけないので、
自分達が死んだ後にエンゼを託すために子どもをもうひとり生む事にした。

　それが神だ。斎藤神の神は守護神の神なのだ。

　姉を守る為に生まれてきた神が、自分の意思で自分の為に空を飛びたいと
思い、飛行クラブを作った。

　主人公の神の俺様キャラが最高だ！
語り手のくーちゃんとのラブコメ仕立になっているのも微笑ましい。

　しかし、空を飛ぶ話に入るのが遅いんだよな〜

　なんと１７０ページから。せめて１００ページくらいから始めて欲しかったな〜　
そうすれば、空を飛ぶためのあれやこれやがもっとしっかりと書けたのに。

　その分、星ひとつ減らして星４つにしました。
