boys air choir は、毎回テーマを変えてアルバムを出していますが、今回はグレゴリアン。透明感があって清純なイメージの彼らにはぴったりです！今回のソリストはトリスチャン・ハンブレトン君。今までのソリストは、ピュアではかなげなイメージが強かったですが、トリスチャン君は、はっきりと力強く伸びやかに歌い上げ、今までとは一味違うboys air choir の魅力が出てます。彼を始め今回も素晴らしい歌声です。クリスマスに向けて「荒野の果てに」が入っているところも嬉しいです。毎回期待を裏切らないできで、今回もぜひお薦めします！

Tristan Hambleton is the lead chorister--the Treble lead for this CD, "Boys Gregorian." (The face(s) of the lead treble usually appears on the cover of the Boys Air Choir recordings, and Tristan appears on this one)
This CD deserves 5-stars for 3 reasons : 1) Tristan's SUPURB vocal abilities are simply stunning! His ability to produce a "vocal Trill" is breathtaking! 2) Next, the resonance of his voice is truly rich and quite compelling. 3) Lastly, the young director, Connor Burrowes, has himself written and arranged 2 or 3 pieces on this recording, and his imprint is felt throughout the entire CD. You can sense the high quality that Burrowes gives, and he will undoubtedly achieve greatness surpassing his already stellar career as a former 1st class chorister in Britain. A must buy CD!
