著者について

　ほかのレビューでも書かれているとおり、『告白』に比べるとややスピード感やトリックの巧妙さに欠けるかも知れません。設定もちょっと説得力に薄いかも。

　でも、私はとても面白く読みました。
「女子高生ってこうだよな〜」って感じで、面白かった。このくらいの年頃の女の子って、大人をなめてかかってたり、親をさめたまなざしで見てたり、男性に不信感を抱いてたり、同性の友達に強い嫉妬を覚えたりと忙しいんですよね。そういうごちゃまぜなところが、よく出ていた。女性が読めば「あーそうそう」っていう部分が多いんじゃないかな。逆に男性が読んでもピンと来ないかも。男性がイメージする「少女」とはかけ離れてるんで、あまりにも自己中心的で、殺風景に見えるかもしれない。
　
　トリックも私は楽しんだけど、どちらかといえば「少女」を描くための作品だったんじゃないでしょうか。「少女」というジャンル、もしくは生き物自体が「ミステリー」というか。

　いずれにせよ、次作も是非読みたいと思わせる書き手であることは確かです。

サクサク読めるテンポの良さと物語の面白さに引き込まれて
一気に読み切りました｡この読みやすさと長すぎない分量が
今の売れ筋なのかなと思います｡

お互いをよくわかっているようで実はよくわかっていない、
思春期の、なかなか自分の想いを素直に表現できない
女子高生の微妙な友達感関係をうまく描いてたように思います｡

終盤になって序盤以降の登場人物の意外な人間関係が明らかになっていくが､
ちょっと偶然が重なりすぎている感は否めず、無理してミステリ的な要素を詰め込むよりは
主人公ふたりの関係をもう少し深めた内容にしたほうが良かったかなぁと思いました｡

話題作『告白』が予想以上に面白かっただけに、本書を即、購入した。書名と表紙が好みではなかったので些かの不安を憶えたのですが・・・。読中、うんざりして読んでるのがキツかった。主人公の語り口調に差がなく区別がつきにくい。終盤・・・何でもかんでも偶然で片付け事件にこじつけすぎで腹が立ってきた。読後、期待が大きかったので定価で購入したことを激しく悔やんだ。この作家の力量ってこの程度だったの？数多の書を読んできたおとなには読むに耐えられない作品。過大評価されすぎていたのではないか？ハヤカワも何故、書き下ろしで出版したのか？とにかくガッカリしました。もうこの作家の作品は読みません。
