　写真集としての存在感は、私の期待を下回った。「スピリッツ」に時折登場するグラビアと同程度のインパクト。実際、グラビアとほぼ同じ撮影場所よりのカットを見るのみ。グラビアに使わなかったストックを、写真集にまとめたのだろう。写真集ならではの満足感を得ることは、私にはなかった。
　1999年当時、同じく「めざましテレビ」お天気キャスターだった角田華子の写真集には水着カットも含まれたことを思い出し、この写真集にも雑誌グラビアを越える露出を期待した私は、肩すかしを食らった。
　それでは本書の特典は何か、DVDである。30分に渡り、動く小林麻央を堪能できる。ただしここにも肩すかしは待っていて、麻央ヴォイスはわずかにしか聞かれない。当たり障りのないBGMが背景に流れるだけ。せめて彼女の声をもっと聞くことが出来たら、楽しみも増えたのに。
　写真のインパクトが雑誌グラビアを越えない以上、この写真集を買う理由はDVDにしか求められない。30分のDVDの価値を認める小林麻央ファンにこそ、新品購入を勧める。ここまで読んで決心が付かない向きには、マーケットプレイス購入という選択肢を提案しよう。
　私？私は満足している。

麻央ちゃんはかわいいし、中に書いてあるポエムもかわいい。しかし、問題はDVDだ。麻央ちゃんと言えば、あのかわいい声が最大の魅力なのにDVDで麻央ちゃんは一言もしゃべってない。なんてこった。麻央ちゃんの声が聴けないなんて・・・。最もこれは僕の個人的な感想で、あなたが「声なんかどうでもいい。オレは麻央ちゃんのルックスが大好きだ!」と思っているなら、迷うことなくお買いなさい。写真や映像はとても美しいから・・・。ていうか、そういう人は、とっくの昔に買ってるか・・・。

かわいい顔、美しい顔、かわいい妹と美しいお姉さんの合体、かわいらしい声など、かわいいと美しいが、てんこ盛りで、知性派、タレント、女優、キャスターを兼ねる、鳥肌ものの圧倒的な美女。こんな人がいるのかと思うほどのバランスの良さモ、ひんむいても見たい逸品です。
