いわゆる恋愛をテーマにした曲って女から見た恋愛感、男から見た恋愛感って感じで解釈がなされると思います。

でも、aikoの曲って女の子から見た恋愛感ながら、男の立場からも「これ分かる~！」みたいなのが多いんじゃないですか？（どうです男性諸君？）そこがaikoの歌の魅力だと思うし、さらにあの歌声でしょ。もう僕は脱帽だったし、一生ついて行くって誓いました。

大大大名曲「ナキムシ」収録で絶対に買いの１枚です。

aikoの1stアルバムです。
この頃からaikoの歌唱力は群を抜いています。
強いて言えば、今と歌い方が違うかなって思います。
力強い歌い方でストレートさが伝わってくるので好きですね。
今はどちらかと言うと大人っぽい、しっとりした歌い方ですよね。
（もちろん今の歌い方も好きです）
今でもaikoはライブでこの1stアルバムの曲を歌います♪
「今度初めてaikoのライブに行く」って人には特にオススメのアルバムです。
ちなみにライブでよく歌われるのが、2曲目の『ジェット』・6曲目の『イジワルな天使よ、世界を笑え！』です。
この2曲はすごく盛り上がる曲です。

このアルバムの中でも特にお気に入りの曲を紹介します。

1.歌姫
アルバムの4曲目に入っています。
これ、本当に隠れ名曲だと私は思っています。
もっとたくさんの人にこの歌を知って欲しいなと思うくらいです。
この曲を聴くためにこのアルバムを買っても損じゃないと断言します。
歌姫aikoが歌う『歌姫』。必聴です！！

ミツメテ　コワシテ　ダキシメテ　あなたの所へ・・・

ここの歌詞で鳥肌が立ちます。

2.夏にマフラー
8曲目に入っています。
aiko曰く、「夏にマフラーをするくらいのアツアツっぷり」を表わしているそうです。
その通り、アツアツな曲です。

腕時計の跡見せて
刻んだ日々なんだかうれしい

この歌詞、共感できます。
こう思えるのって素敵ですよね。

このアルバムは、相手のことが好きで好きで仕方がない！っていう女の子の思いが詰まっているアルバムだと思います。
是非聴いてみて下さい。

今と比べてサウンドにも多少ムラがある感じはするけど、その音の荒さなんかが初期のaikoの特徴でもある。

aikoと島田さんが作り出すガールズ・ポップの真骨頂ともいうべき世界。
このアルバムを聴いていると、その世界に引き込まれてくような感覚になります。

『オレンジな満月』のドロップみたいに可愛いサウンドと切ない歌詞の世界から始まり、『夏にマフラー』ではガールズ・ロックなかっこよさを見せつけ、
『ボブ』の弾き語りで聴かせた後は、デビュー作『あした』で締める。
つまり、すごく可愛いし、サウンドはかっこよくもあるし、でも究極に切ない。
とにかくパワフルで、今の“aiko”という宝石が輝きだす前の、原石みたいな価値のある一枚だと思います。
ここからaikoというアーティストが始まってるんだなって感じられるし、とにかくこの曲のバリエーションと恋愛観・世界観には度肝を抜かされます。

初期のaikoらしい元気なヴォーカルも映えていて、aiko好きだけど聴いた事ない人には絶対オススメなのでチェックしてみてください。
ライヴで盛り上がる『ジェット』『イジワルな天使よ 世界を笑え！』も要チェック！
