子供の頃、わくわくしながら何回も読みました。
あの頃は’しょうがビスケット’が
不思議で不思議たまりませんでした。
夏至のお祭の楽しそうなことや、コケモモの実やパンケーキがおいしそうなことや、夜の闇がこわいこと・・などなど今でも忘れられません。

本など読まなかった子供が、目をきらきらさせながら読み始めました。改めて続編を注文しようと思います。

小学生の頃、図書館から何度も借りて読んだ本です。
突然スプーンくらいに小さくなってしまうおばさん。
小さくなっても「あらら」ぐらいの驚きで思い切りその姿で楽しんでしまう、朗らかで冒険好きなおばさんが魅力的です。

おとぎ話みたいな感覚でもなく、実際ひょっこりでてきそうな親しみやすいキャラクターと、魅力的なストーリーで最後まで目をくるくるさせながら読んでしまう作品です。
