　いろいろな意味で驚異の映画。まず第一に、伝え聞くところによると、製作予算が600万円ちょっとしかなかったらしい。なのに立派なセットもちゃんと作っているし、ロケにも行っている。さらに出来上がりにケチくさいところが微塵もない。

　つぎに宮下順子の迫真の演技。この時期の彼女は充実作が目白押しで、本当の意味で体を張って生きている、という感じがする。「（阿部定が）いろんな偽名を使って生きてきました云々」という冒頭のモノローグも素晴らしい。

　このあとすぐに若松孝二と大島渚が同じ題材で「愛のコリーダ」を製作するが、アチラはわが国初の「本番映画」を作ったというだけのこと。童貞を捨てるために、初めてソープに行く高校生がはしゃいでいたようなもので、映画としての出来はハッキリ言ってイマイチですね。完成度はこちらがはるかに上を行っている。まさしく天才田中登の面目躍如たるクリーンヒット。必見です。

宮下順子と言えば、
日活ロマンポルノで名を馳せた女優さんだけど、
もしも「ロマンポルノ」って言葉で
拒否反応示す人がいるとしたら
勿体無い話だよ〜〜。
ここでの彼女の肉体や演技ってのは、
私が考える定の「ずる可愛さ」に
かなりリンクする。

とにかく、宮下！

彼女に説得力がある。
その爛れた純情が身体の線に出ているんだもん。

特に、吉蔵を宿に残し、金の工面をする為に
「先生」に逢うくだりのシーンなんぞはね。
「実際、こうだったんじゃないの？？」って。

阿部定作品として、お奨めです。

大島渚版には遠く及ばなかった。今でこそロマンポルノを懐かしむところがあるが、やはり絡みシーンでは前バリの見えないカメラワーク等、嘘っぽい。アフレコの影響で生々しさが無くなり、大島渚版と比べるとやはり月とスッポンである。本番をすることで、演技を超えた空間を作り出した大島渚。こちらはやはり、嘘の絡み。宮下の演技は上手いが、他の作品でも同じ表情なのがロマンポルノの限界なのだろう。ちっとも耽美的でなかった。
