形式:単行本
予想外に良書でした。
英米児童文学の歴史、年齢別の本の書き方、児童の目線、ジャンル分け、人物の膨らまし方まで、内容は幅広く細やか。文化が違うため、作者が挙げる例に違和感を感じる点、あと８０年代に出版された本なので情報が古めなのが難点ですが、それでも所々に作者の知性が溢れているため、読後感が大変良かったです。
構成などの、技術面の指導が弱いため、この本一冊を読んだからといって書けるとは思えませんが、児童文学を書く上での精神や心構えは教えられたような気はします。技術面の勉強をする前に、是非。
