宅録の見本市のようだった前作から一転,バンド形式にのっとって歌っているせいか,若年寄めいた表情は幾分後退した。幼さと諦念が交錯する曲が並ぶあたり,奥田民生の幻想のなさともまた違った時代の気分なのかも。にしてもこのヴォーカルはつらいが。

やっぱり歌詞の力がすごいですね。
どの曲も中村一義の、人が好き音楽が好き、がよく伝わってくる。
泣かされるものも多いが、その涙は「つらい事にあたった時の涙」より、その時「横にいてくれた人へ流した涙」の方に近い。
すばらしい作品なので、もっと評価があるはずなのにと思う。
中村ファンとしてではなく一音楽好きとしていわしてもらいたいのが、メロディーがすこしありきたりなきがするかと。
CDジャーナルの「にしてもこのヴォーカルはつらいが。」とは？
何言ってんの、この人が歌わないとダメでしょう。

名曲揃い。ハズレなしです。
楽曲・スタイルは前作の延長線上にあると思います。
大きな違いは、"泣き"のメロディーが目立つことです。

1st.アルバム"金字塔"は箱庭から外界（主に下町界隈）へ飛び出すスーパーポジティブなポップアルバムで、
溢れ出す希望や愛を表現していたのに対して、この2nd."太陽"はもう少し現実的な響きを持っています。

それはあたかも1st.で歌い上げた純粋な気持ちを軸に保ちながら、
現実の社会で地に足をつけて生きていく実践編導入部のように聞こえてきます。

また"泣き"メロが多いからといって、悲しみに支配されているというわけではありません。
涙の成分としては"感動"が多く含まれ、

"ほら、笑顔。泣き顔も笑顔。"や"人を笑わせんのも、泣かせんのも、人じゃないの？"
というような詞に表れています。

現実的には、大人になったら、日々の暮らしでいちいち感動したり泣いたりしていられないものですが、
だからこそ、若者が純粋な気持ちを込めて作り上げたこのアルバムは貴重です。

あなたの「太陽」は何ですか？中村一義２ndのこのアルバムは、私にとっての「太陽」です。ずべての曲に中村くんの"愛"を感じる、そんな感じです。

あなたも感じることが出来るはずです。CDをセットして、再生ボタンを押してみて。もうそこからは"中村ワールド"のはじまりです。楽しい気分、嬉しい気分、淋しい気分、哀しい気分、イライラした気分。どんな時にも中村くんの音楽はすぐそこにあります。どんなときでも、感情を共にできる。そんなアルバムです。「太陽」・・あなたの太陽になれますように。

ナカムラ伝説はまだ、始まったばかりですよ。
