驚きました。
まずは、こんなにたくさん、実際のノートが公開されているとは。しかもカラーで。
そして、俊輔が栄光の裏でこんなにも孤独に自己と戦っていたのかという驚き。
新しい俊輔像が明らかになるとともに、今の中村俊輔の地位が確固たるものとして納得できます。
丁寧な解説で、俊輔のノートはさらに分かりやすくなっています。
俊輔のノートはすみずみまで読むことをお薦めします。あっと驚くようなことが小さな字で書かれていたりします。
読み終わった後には、ジーンと感動が残ります。

普段の生活で考えたことを、ノートに書くことは、とても役に立つ習慣だ。なぜなら、人は考えたことをすぐに忘れてしまうものだから。後で読み返すと、自分がこんなことを考えていたのかと感心すること度々である。日記も、その一つだが、サッカーにテーマを絞るとサッカーノートになる。忘れてしまった自分の考えに、もう一度触れることで忘れにくくなる。良いプレーヤーのサッカーノートは思考の軌跡であり、読んだ人それぞれが、自分にとって役に立つ部分を見つけることができるだろう。サッカーノートをつけている中二の息子も、おもしろかったと言っていた。

付属のノートの有用性はよくわからないのですが、
この本の素晴らしさは、中村俊輔のサッカーへの姿勢だと思います。

ノートをとることも、その書き方も、継続することも、
それぞれ重要ですが、なによりそれはサッカーへの真摯な姿勢、
求道する人のアプローチそのものです。

サッカーを通じて人間性を高めること、とありましたが、
サッカーという道具をもって、海外へ飛び出し、
自分への経験と関係性というリターンを求めた中田英寿氏とは違い、
サッカーそのものへの追及のプロセスが、中村俊輔という人間を高めている、
そんな風にも読めました。
