スクランに比べてギャグは少なめです。こちらは謎が多いです。現在人気の「涼宮ハルヒ」みたいな微妙に非日常ストーリー。絵はキャラ、背景共に当然文句なしです。キャラがまだ少ないですがそれでも個性があって特に問題は無し。タイトルに「夏の」とあるのでそれほど長いストーリーには成らないのではないかと推測していますが果たしてどうなることやら。今後がかなり楽しみです。

週刊少年マガジンで「スクールランブル」を連載されている小林尽先生の作品です。
絵柄は従来のコメディータッチなものですが、時折描かれるアンニュイな表情、凝った背景描写には、スクランとは一味違った落ち着きが見てとれます。廃校のシーンは必見。
今後の展開が楽しみですね。海×水着×夕日なこてこてのラブコメや、戦時の慎ましい雰囲気のシーンを期待しているのですが…まあ、早すぎず、重すぎないエンディングを迎えて欲しいです。

もともとスクランファンである私は、小林尽が著者という理由でこの本を手にとりました。
しかし呼んでいくうちに現実離れしたストーリーなどに魅かれて行きました。
去年で二十歳になった自分ですが、この作品のような出来事に憧れていた少年時代を思い出しました。
あらしや八坂を始め、一人一人のキャラクターが謎に満ちていて、そして魅力的なのがとても素晴らしいと思いました。
これからの展開がとても楽しみです！！

二十代中盤になってからの漫画マニアが読むとすごい楽しめます。
なんだか懐かしい背景に細かい造形のキャラクターがレトロさを感じさせるのかも知れません。
