　写真がとってもキレイ。
　写真を見つつ手順を読んでいると、もう料理上手になったかのような気持ちに。
　なんでもないような、でもとても大事なコツがさらりと書かれていて、
知らないうちに腕があがりそう！
　土井さんの人柄もうかがえるやさしい文章のおかげか、料理するのがとても楽しみに。
　自分のためにも家族のためにも料理の腕をあげようと心底思いました。
豚肉の生姜焼き、とてもおいしくいただきました！
　父から渡された「日本の家庭料理独習書」とこの本の２冊で毎日の食卓がとても豊かになり感謝しています。

料理本は数々あれど、何度も何度も読み返してしまう、
まるで料理の師匠と対話しているような語り口、
こんな本はありませんでした！
玉ねぎのさらし方、サラダの水切り、最高においしい
牡蠣フライ、ハンバーグ！
将来すべてのレシピが我が家の「一生もん」になること必須です。
全部本の通りに作って友人にも自慢したい。
ていねいに作れば料理はこんなにもおいしくなる、
美しくなる、ということを教えてくれた土井先生に感謝！

この本に出てくるメニューは誰もが知っている定番メニューばかりです。
でも、そこには美味しく作る為のコツとその理由、逆に、してはいけないことの理由がしっかり書かれており、料理をする上で大切な基本的なことがとてもわかりやすく理解できるようになっています。この基本を押さえれば他のメニューにも応用出来て、作る度に料理上手になって行ける気がします。今まで色々な料理本を購入しましたが、一生大事にしようと思える数少ない本の中の一冊になりました。私は、早速、おでんとハンバーグを作ってみたのですが、自分でもビックリの美味しさでしたよ！
