独特の東洋のメロディーに、林明日香さんの歌声がぴったりと合っていて、
思わず聴き惚れてしまいます。
今、英語の混ざったありがちな曲のリリースが多い中、
(大げさに言えば、)日本語の美しさ、日本のリズムの綺麗さが再確認出来るのではないかと。
とにかく聴いていてとても気持ちがいいし、惹き込まれるものが有ります。
実力派だと思います。

今更ながら聴いてみた。
もちろん歌唱力は素晴らしいし、声の奥行きなども充分個性的で申し分ない。楽曲にも恵まれていると思う。
しかし。しかしですね、心配になってしまうのですよ。この年齢。そしてあまりにも歌唱力にスポットがあてられてしまっていることが。

過去、こういう歌唱力をウリにした歌手が日本で長期間に渡って売れ続けたことがあったろうか。いわゆる和製R&Bにしても、彼女のようなアジアンテイストの歌手にしても、何故だか生き残る人は自分で歌詞を書く人、英語が自在に操れる人、台湾人のハーフ、沖縄出身の人など、それなりのバックグラウンド（？）を持った人に限られているように思う。「脅威の歌唱力！」などと騒げば騒ぐほど、寿命が短くなってしまう不思議なジレンマ。その理由は僕自身も謎なのですが、リスナーが無意識のうちに真贋を見分けているんでしょうか？

以前、東芝EMIの担当者だかが、「彼女のような歌唱力のある歌手はR&B的な曲で売り出すのが定石だったのですが、それではインパクトがないのでアジアンテイストの曲にした」とインタビューで得意気（？）に語っていたのを読んだことがあります。要するに、彼女がアジアンテイストの曲を唄っているのは多分に営業的側面からであり、彼女自身の音楽的バックグラウンドとは何の関係もないということです。
早く『歌唱力以外の何か』を開拓しなければ、すぐに他の人にとって代わられてしまうと思う。まだ若いのだから、充分間に合うと思いますしね。

　全球　ど真ん中の直球勝負。
１３歳の少女とはいえ、なかなか侮れませんよ。
威力のあるストレートに立ちむかうには、かなりの覚悟を必要とします。あとは、カーブやチェンジアップを覚えると大投手になりそうです。

全球、ど真ん中のストレートで、全力投球。
威力のある球に立ちむかうには、かなり疲れます。
カーブや、チェンジアップを覚えると大投手になりそうです。
