この書は、中村天風氏の講演を本にしたものだが、いわゆる人生哲学書のなかで、これほどまでに読みやすく（私は１日で読んでしまった）、理解しやすく、そして読むほどに前向きな精神になれる本はないのだろうか！というほどに最高の書籍である。

もしかすると難しい文章を好む方にとっては、ある種の物足りなさを感じる方もいらっしゃるかむしれないが、語り口調を（恐らく）忠実に再現した本書は、彼の人柄や生き様までもが読むごとに思い浮かばせてくれる１冊である。
新入社員研修での利用やや、これから社会に出る人への贈り物にも最適ではないか。

もともと宇野千代の大ファンで、この本を読みました。
そうか、宇野千代は中村天風によって作られたのね、と
納得できるような内容でした。
宇野千代の考え方が好きな人なら、この本もきっと
気に入ることでしょう。

何があっても笑っていましょう、
誰からも好かれる人でいましょう、
病気で体が辛い、と言っても何も変わりません、

むしろ笑顔でいた方がずっといい、
といったような宇野千代さんもよく著書で述べられていた内容ですが、
こちらが本家本元で、しかも語り口調が
「隣のおっちゃん」みたいな感じですんなりと
読むことが出来、少しずつ実行に移せそうな内容です。

この本で初めて天風先生を知りました。
それ以来押し付けがましいのですが、
多くの人にプレゼントしました。

天風哲学の入門書としては最適かと思います。
内容も文章も読みやすいのですが、
多くのものを心に残してくれると思います。
