1947年11月22日、広島県呉市に生まれる。71年、東京理科大学理学部物理学科を中退し、(株)新社会研究所に入社。月刊誌『情報パック』の編集にあたる。74年、社団法人日本宗教放送協会発行の月刊誌『宗教評論』の編集長。79年、月刊宗教情報紙『現代宗教研究』を創刊、主幹に。80年以降は、フリーのジャーナリストとして活動。83年、(株)報恩社を設立し代表取締役に就任、ほか数社を経営(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)
