myこれベストで、一番の売り上げを誇った光GENJIのベストである。
（男女アーチストで、ダントツ1位である）
シングルがわりとくまなく収録されているが、
よく聴いてみると、やはり「コレ」というコアなシングルは、
結構ぬけていたりする（とくに後半活動期）。
十万人単位でファンクラブ会員がいたグループのベストとしては、
ちょっといささか寂しい気もする。
ただ、時代を感じるにはちょうどいいCDで、
ローラー・スケートを履いて「STAR LIGHT」で
夜のヒットスタジオを見たときの瞬間は、
いったい何があったのだろうと思うくらいの感激を、
CDを聴いてでも、思い出せる。
前半部分は、個人的にレコード店勤務だった私が、
直に売っていたので、個人的にも懐かしい。
ただ「太陽がいっぱい」は、1週間おきに、
中のジャケットが変わって、品番も変わって、
予約整理が大変だったいらだちも、いっしょに思い出したが。
あ・・・ちなみに、前半シングル収録曲は、
すべてシングルバージョンである。
1stアルバムのバックコーラスや、
ボーカル総取っかえの「ふりかえってTomorrow」のバージョンではない。

光GENJIのベストアルバム。シングル曲ばかりで、光GENJIを懐かしく思う当時のファンなら大満足の曲目ではないだろうか。デビュー曲からラストシングルまでまんべんなく入っており、彼等の成長を見ることもできる。
光GENJI初心者の入門編としてもお薦め。ただ、コアなファンにはちょっと物足りないかも。

2002年10月にもう１枚光GENJIのベストアルバムもでるし、2002年８月にはSAY'Sのアルバムもでる。そっちも合わせて楽しみたい。

光GENJIのデビュー曲にして最高の名曲「STAR RIGHT」を聴きたくて購入したのですが…
間奏が端折られています。
昔、テープで何度も聴いて記憶に残っているので、勘違いではないでしょう。
一番の聴きどころなのに、そこを端折ってはいけません。
がっかりしました。
「STAR RIGHT」フルバージョンを聴きたい方は、別のCDを購入するようにしましょう。
とはいえ、（歌はさておき曲に関しては）いずれもかなりの秀作揃いで聴きでがあり、またテンポも良く、肩肘張らずに気楽に聴くことが出来ます。
リアルタイムでファンだった女性で、子供が中学生くらいになっている人もいるでしょう。
そんな場合、親子でこの作品を聴いて、お母さんの青春時代の思い出を語ってみるというのもいいのではないでしょうか。
