読みやすい、とっつきやすい、分かりやすい。
物語の終え方はとてもうまくまとめられている。
読後感はさわやか。いやほんわか？
いまどきの若い女性（もしかしたら男性も？）たちは、こういう物語が救いになるのかな。

どう言ったらいいのか、物語の一つ一つがざわつくような得体の知れなさで不安になるところがある。３つの作品のなかで漠然としたざらつきを一番感じなかったのは「ガラクタの効果」だったっけ、だけれど、残る二つは登場する人物の感じ方というのが、優しさには思えないのです。
年代の差なのかもしれないので、こういう感覚がいまどきの男の必然なのかもしれません。また、小説が現実を反映する必要がないことは承知しています。それでもやっぱり腑に落ちないのです。素直に『いいよ』といえない「ずれ」を感じています。

腑に落ちないのが僕だけなのでしょうか。
物語作者としては優しいのかな。むしろ怖い優しさを描いているのかなというように思います。

どこか抜けていて、どこかツッコミたくなるような･･･リアリティがある一方で、ファンタジーの香りもする作品でした。美しくまとめられているのではない、どこかに穴のある人物像が魅力的なように感じます。個人的には『ガラクタ効果』が印象的で、ゼミでどんなあらすじか説明すると大爆笑でした。“拾ってきたもの”が大きかったように思います。

文章そのものが、まるでそよ風の様に心地良い。
三篇の短編集だが、どの作品も、文章そのものに酔える。

表題作「優しい音楽」は、当初すれ違いだらけだった二人が、
段々と溶け合って、最後は家族とも、、、。
フルートは象徴的な意味を持つ。

この溶け合う過程が、実に自然で、
まるで涼風の如くだ。

読後感はじんわりと温かい。
作品自体が、一つのオアシスであるかの様だ。
