１，２巻より福満さんのネガティブ方面が加速されています。

それがこの方の持ち芸なので１，２巻を経て芸に磨きがかかったと言えると思います。

卑屈になったり、他人を嫉妬したりの場面が多いのでそういう芸風が嫌いな方は嫌悪感があるかも。

でも最終的には妻の出産により美しい締めを迎えるので、万人向けにはなっていると思います。

この人はふくよかで可愛い女性キャラを描くので、『かぼちゃワイン』のエルがツボな人にはいいと思います。
若い人には『かぼちゃワイン』では伝わらないかも知れませんが。

『僕の小規模な失敗』から、意図してのことかは分からないけど、僕と妻が徐々に大人になっていくさまが面白い。
人の社会性が育っていく物語としても、また興味深い。

巻末の各話の言い訳も面白かった。

特に今回、女性同士が連携できないことが女性の「しんどさ」を助長させており、その背景には体験の個別性があるのではないか、という趣旨のことが書いてあり、これには感心させられた。
もし彼が、卑近な事例を積み重ねてその結論に至ったのであれば、素晴らしい洞察力だ。

本当に、この人にストーリー漫画を書かせてあげてほしいと思う。
頼みますよ。

冒頭こそ、いつもの編集者への愚痴や妄想（女性編集者へのエロ妄想）だけれど、
中盤から様相が変わってくる。
妻が妊娠しちゃったんです。
そこから、出産に向けてどんどん盛り上がっていきます。
『小規模』シリーズ最大の山場だと思われます。
普通の物語だと出産シーンを感動的に描くのですが、福満さんはそうは描きません。
押し寄せるなまなましい「リアル」の洪水の中でもがき、うろたえる姿を見せます。
さすが、福満さんと思わせます。
やっぱり、凡庸な書き手ではありません。
　
これからは「育児マンガ」になってゆくかもしれませんが、きっとすこし「定型」をはずしたものになるでしょうね。
期待しています。
（少年マガジンに掲載された『東村山あたりの夕日』も収録されています）

追記・成功している他人への嫉妬、やっかみや女性を蔑視しているようにも取れる思考などみんなが秘かに持っているけれど、
おおっぴらに言うと損をするので云わないことをぶちまけるのが福満さんの魅力だと思うので、つまらない自己規制などしないで
これからもどんどん「告白」していってください！
